Pam Eddings is a lady of multiple talents and wears many hats to perform the required tasks for her areas of responsibility and involvement.
In 1973, Pam married Ron Eddings, the “man of her dreams,” and together, they became parents to three sons, Russell, Raymond, and Rodney. For 28 years, their lives revolved around their relationship with God, each other, their children, their church, work, and enjoyment of traveling.
In 2001, Ron’s sudden death due to a heart attack forever changed Pam’s life. As a widow since then, she has experienced the grief of loss, and the challenges of living life as a single person. In addition to the challenges of widowhood, Pam has experienced the joy of seeing her sons marry and present her with three grandsons and four granddaughters. Holding each new grandchild for the first time added additional layers of healing to the grief of losing her husband.
Pam’s life is very full with new avenues of ministry and freelance opportunities that have opened to her since 2001. In 2014, Pam published her first devotional book titled, “One Year Bible Quiz.” Since then, she has published six more devotional books as well as a short collection of stories describing some of her experiences in jail ministry. The publishing of her books has opened doors for her to travel for speaking engagements and book promotion.
Pam is a licensed minister and prison Chaplain and has taught Bible studies to thousands of men and women inmates since 2003. She is also a skilled singer, musician, and music instructor, and plays active music and teaching roles in her local Church.
Pam currently serves as Director and Treasurer of “Help Me Heal,” a ministry which brings a conference to churches and addresses many issues which keep people from living in freedom. A few of the topics addressed are: abortion, sexual abuse, grief and loss, and unforgiveness.
